Description

"Elle" is an elderly lady who lives nearby, who I frequently sit and have tea with. I asked her if she minded if I drew her... This took me a week, and I almost filled a sketchbook. (though I did get lots of nice tea!)

This is actually one of the hardest things I have attempted doing, and I wasn't capturing her at all. Upon meeting her you find she is very astute, strong willed, clear minded and gives you a direct look that makes you feel as if you were glass.

She liked this version very much... though I find it rather intimidating
(she's lovely)
