Musical interlude 15.
Artist
Paul Davenport
Medium
Digital Art - Digital
Description
These works are taking music as a starting point to create 2d abstract representations.
I don't have synaesthesia... but if I listen to music with my eyes closed, I do experience colours and shapes.
Experimenting with this, brushed the cobwebs off my keyboard and interfaced it with some video feedback, then 'fiddled' with it somewhat on the computer!

Paul It's definitely music visualized -- to me it's the notes of a flute breaking free of earthly bounds and rising heavenward -- it can think of parts of some Vivaldi flute concertos it reminds me of -- or the beautiful flute notes just hanging in the air of Paul Horn's incredible flute playing inside the Taj Mahal (Paul Horn "Inside" for those who wish to experience it!!)
