Drawing - Compressed Charcoal On Paper
Description
I'm finding myself increasingly interested with the interaction of black and white to create form.
This drawing, in charcoal and conte, was initially done as a quick sketch - then redrawn at A2 size using compressed charcoal onto Daler Rowney Fine Grain HeavyWeight paper.

Thank you very much for the feature in the "Contemporary Nude Art" group... but you shouldn't tease! :-)... I started doing my recent figure drawings in a way that they were not editable, as an exercise really to see how it would effect how I made marks when I couldn't rub them out...only to find it is really (bleeped) stressful :-)

I am amazed with your drawings.I think Quiescent is one of my favorites.L/F
Paul Davenport replied:
Thank you for the l/f Michael :-) ... its strange how some people seem "easier" to draw than others.

Thank you :-) Happy you liked the behance timeline - nice to know! - its just that I find the process of creating anything rather fascinating... I don't like them at all when Ive finished, as I always have a deep feeling of dissatisfaction!
