Description
Photographed near Port St Mary, in the Isle Of Man in the UK. Taken from the headland, whilst walking from Port St Mary to Gansey beach. I actually was hoping to do some reflections on wet sand at Gansey, which is a good sized sandy beach within the Bay ny Carrickey, I stopped off on the way as I had completely misjudged my timing as it was obviously high tide. In fact it was a very high tide, evidence of this being the grass I would normally have a sit down on, actually being under water!
Rather mesmerised by the light changing so much.
Shot with a Nikon D7100 with 18-300 Nikkor lens.

Great capture
Paul Davenport replied:
Thank you Alex :-) ... one of those odd days! more surreal if you know the area, as the grass in the sea isn't usually anywhere near the sea... and the nearby harbour has a jetty that is usually 16 feet out of the water at high tide, which was completely underwater!... I think the birds were somewhat puzzled:-)

Beautiful, dramatic capture!
Paul Davenport replied:
Thank you John :-)... it was very strange lighting that day... and a strange tide - there really shouldn't be water where it is!... there is a harbour over on the right, and the jetty was completely under water... very surreal! :-)
