Description
Photographed at The Chasms, in the Isle Of Man in the UK. I actually went to photograph a small ancient stone circle there, but was rather distracted by the unusual rock formations. The Chasms, is a walled off area of coastline where the cliff is fracturing right down to the sea and is slowly opening up fissures… great for climbers wanting chimney experience as there are towers of rock three to four hundred feet high!
There are narrow trails meandering amongst, and over the crevices if one is feeling adventurous. I heard someone shouting and was running around around peering into the fissures, trying to find the person who had fallen in... only to have the helmeted head of a climber pop out of the ground in front of me! (idiot!).
Shot with a Nikon D7100 with 18-300 Nikkor lens.
