Description
All three of these paintings were created with oil paint applied onto board, then emulsion paint over the top - an exploration of basic feelings about colour, composition, textures and shapes.
The discomfort comes, I think, from the contrast between the smooth liquid white shapes of the enamel and the gritty background texture.

Thank you Lauren… from looking at your work, I don't think you need much inspiration :-) I haven't done pure abstract since college until recently (long time!), I love experimenting… then get completely distracted by something else!! I seem to have developed the attention span of a flea!
