Description
Another majestic and stately Greater flamingo, photographed at the Slimbridge Wetland Centre, near Cambridge. I was rather tickled pink when I found it has the UK’s largest flock of flamingos.
I haven’t been here for a while now and have been rummaging around in some old pictures, but Slimbridge is very cool place to visit if your in any way interested in waterfowl and wading birds. I would love to go back here soon, and suspect the flamingo colony will have grown considerably.
Shot with a Nikon D7100 and 80-400 Nikkor lens.
