happy you find the work interesting VIVA:-) Im on a standard treatment of three days of IV steroids... which lasts about three months... which is not at all bad considering the alternative! :-) Though Im finding it quite difficult to adjust dealing with the side effects :-(

Thank you for the vf VIVA :-) I had an attack of MS last year and woke up one morning with completely messed up vision... I didn't know what the heck was happening!!! - but it hasn't stopped either of us painting! :-)

Artist's Description

Initially urged by the thoughts of blurring and loosing sight, this piece was started using acrylic paints on sink sheeting, developing into a digital collage as I wanted to assemble various elements. Whilst I could have done this directly onto the metal, I was reticent about risking the background texture already created.

Paul Davenport

I started off in fine art, by going to Wakefield School of Art and then St Martins in London to do Sculpture, I have spent most of my time (after going to Camberwell School of Art for a Graphics degree) doing graphic design, working through various sectors including publishing, sales promotion, marketing, and design consultancies, before starting my own company in 1995. I have always to some extent kept up with the fine art - even when this just meant going out sketching with my dad... and its always played a big part in my design work. Most recently though I have being doing rather allot of drawing, re igniting a passion for my long lost love of fine art (or scribbling). From sketching my neighbours little girl, I found myself...
