Description
Not at all what I started out to do, which was to photograph some pleasant minimal compositions of silhouetted grasses down by my local river... but Im easily distracted and I thought this hogweed was rather cool!
Most of these images were against blue sky, and it seemed a natural progression to try and enhance the naturally occurring beauty of the repetition of nature by reducing to black and white, and then reflecting.
Shot with a Nikon D7100 with 18-300 Nikkor lens.

Thank you Mitch :-) ...I haven't had chance to get involved in the PODs yet. It was ridiculously difficult to get in a position to isolate these grasses... and did fall in the river a few times:-)

Happy you like it Maggie :-) you flatterer you! ... Mainly due to 35 years engaged in a vary varied commercial art career... I struggle producing things without a function! so find giving myself a brief helps :-)
