Description
An ongoing project looking at the various qualities of water.
Very startling and rather beautiful vermilion roots pushing their way out into the river for water. The river bank here is almost vertical and about twelve feet high, but could not see any obvious culprit to whom the roots belonged. Maybe a nearby needy tree?
Lovely sunny day under overhanging trees, producing very strong contrasts.
Shot with a Nikon D7100 with 18-300 Nikkor lens.

Excellent feel of this photo Paul !!!!!!!! Tom
Paul Davenport replied:
Thank you very much for the feature Tom. This was at my local river, which is a ten minute walk away. Its very strange whats happening to the river - its eroded the riverbed about 4 foot lower than the last time I looked and there is a 4 foot waterfall traveling up the river (very strange)... but possibly why these roots were exposed?... it was really pretty - it looked like studio lighting!
