Description
I ventured out last weekend 10.12.17 down by local river in Birmingham (UK) just a few minutes walk away and found a pretty tree. Actually extremely dark and overcast with snow clouds and should have changed lenses… but could’t.
Taken with a Nikon D7100 and Nikkor 18 -300mm lens.

Thank you Beverly. Yeh, really pretty tree - and even nicer with snow on it. Im surprised anything came out really - it was mid-day, but so dark with heavy snow and heavy clouds :-)

Beautifully composed - you wonder how the heavy branches are supported - could picture this in in a story book! :) Brrr cold - swap with my 40+ deg here in the Outback :)

I guess the branches are used to holding up leaves? Was snowing heavily when I took this... way too little light for the lens I was using and should have changed it... but the only shelter was that tree (and we both know what would have happened!) :-)
