Product Details

Our luxuriously soft blankets are available in two different sizes and feature incredible artwork on the top surface. The bottom surface is white. Our 100% polyester blankets are available in two different styles: plush fleece and sherpa fleece. Plush fleece blankets are soft and fluffy on both sides, whereas sherpa blankets are smooth like a soft sweater on the artwork side (i.e. shorter threads) which provides for a sharper image. Looking for a recommendation? Go with a 60" x 80" plush fleece blanket. It's soft and luxurious on both sides... the artwork looks incredible... and the size is just right for everyone.

You do have a knack for catching these folk, don't you! Thank you for sharing your finds with us. :D L/F

Paul Davenport replied:

Thank you Lori (you have to sneak up on them very quietly) :-)

Love these little creatures. What a find. You can't know this about me, but I love thoughts of fairies and elves and draw them often as that type of fantasy work suits me. Of course, I know they don't exist but like to think that they do. I have nowhere the talent for drawing that you do, but I still enjoy it. I have one that is a tiny autumn fairy huddled in a leaf to keep warm. I tell you, you have to watch where you walk or you could accidentally squish one. LOL! :-D

Paul Davenport replied:

I love them too! - but they are really not going to be happy about you saying they don't exist... they won't be making your acquaintance now, thats for sure!

Paul Davenport replied:

Thank you Linda... they are elusive little devils - I did take a peek inside but there must have been an escape hatch! :-)

Thank you Angelo! ...I don't rightly know what they were doing inside the flower head :-)

Artist's Description

I was recently down by the river photographing shrubbery, trying to get some nice shots of the overlapping green leaves against the bright sunlight.

It wasn’t until I got home and started looking through the pictures more carefully that I noticed some rather surprising shadows, and the more I looked the more I seemed to see. prompting me to immediately look through other pictures I took last fall, with the same result.

I can’t quite believe I didn’t see these at the time… they must have been stood right there in front of me!I - will ad to the gallery when and if I happen to catch any more, but they do seem rather elusive.

This was taken at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens… I think these guys must have been having a town meeting… or maybe a party?… I didn’t disturb them!

Anything with text added reads ‘Loyalty and unending friendship to all Eldar’ in Tengwar… but apologies for that as Im not too good with Tengwar vowels and punctuation...

About Paul Davenport

Paul Davenport

I started off in fine art, by going to Wakefield School of Art and then St Martins in London to do Sculpture, I have spent most of my time (after going to Camberwell School of Art for a Graphics degree) doing graphic design, working through various sectors including publishing, sales promotion, marketing, and design consultancies, before starting my own company in 1995. I have always to some extent kept up with the fine art - even when this just meant going out sketching with my dad... and its always played a big part in my design work. Most recently though I have being doing rather allot of drawing, re igniting a passion for my long lost love of fine art (or scribbling). From sketching my neighbours little girl, I found myself...
