Artist's Description

This is the first figurative oil painting Ive done a for a long time, so its rather tentative and exploratory. Feels like feeling my way somewhat, as everything I have been doing recently is not really editable in any way. i.e drawing marks not erasable or paint applied in such a way so as to be undoable... so baby steps, but anticipate merging the two painting styles at some point.

From sketching my neighbours little girl, I found myself...
