Nice capture Paul. Beautiful photo ! L/F

Paul Davenport replied:

Thank you for the L/F Dimitra :-) ...I still can't really figure out the red strip... I guess it could be a gap in the clouds, but it doesn't really look like a patch of light!

Artist's Description

Photographed at Glen Maye, in the Isle Of Man in the UK. This is looking due West towards the clouds over Ireland as the sun fell behind them. I was hoping it would reappear underneath, but that didn't happen. The red strip in the water, I guess, an effect caused by refraction - it stayed for a quarter of an hour, varying in intensity before finally fading.

Shot with a Nikon D7100 with 18-300 Nikkor lens.

I have always to some extent kept up with the fine art - even when this just meant going out sketching with my dad... and its always played a big part in my design work. Most recently though I have being doing rather allot of drawing, re igniting a passion for my long lost love of fine art (or scribbling). From sketching my neighbours little girl, I found myself...
