Drawing - Compressed Charcoal On Paper
Description
This horse seemed to know what I was doing... stood there for fifteen minutes nibbling while I doodled, before coming over for a polo mint and a scratch.
I do find the powerful musculature of horses beautiful.
This drawing (like most I am doing at the moment) was initially done quite small in a sketchbook using graphite, then worked up later using compressed charcoal on a heavyweight cartridge paper.

How very powerful your beautiful art is. It has emotion and beauty. L/F
Paul Davenport replied:
Thank you! - I consciously try and put emotional content into the drawings with the marks I make... though truth be told, thats quite likely to be my apprehension - as I don't erase any marks I make I find the process rather stressful :-)
