Another photograph of what I think is a Red Jungle Fowl rooster strutting its stuff. I was on a walk, roughly halfway up a mountain when he suddenly rushed very excitedly towards me like a long lost friend. Which was rather strange as it was in the middle of nowhere really, with no farms or any property around, so suspect he either got lost or was left there.
Still cannot quite believe the beautiful condition he was in, most wild cockerels I’ve seen have been rather scruffy with one tail feather left.
Shot with a Nikon D7100 with 18-300 Nikkor lens.
I started off in fine art, by going to Wakefield School of Art and then St Martins in London to do Sculpture, I have spent most of my time (after going to Camberwell School of Art for a Graphics degree) doing graphic design, working through various sectors including publishing, sales promotion, marketing, and design consultancies, before starting my own company in 1995. I have always to some extent kept up with the fine art - even when this just meant going out sketching with my dad... and its always played a big part in my design work.
