Thank you Renata, that's most kind :-) he disappear from sight... silly man! - reminds me of when I went snorkelling once and got too reoccupied following the little fishies... and when I finally looked up, I couldn't see land at all... silly man! :-)

Thank you Az :-) That was actually my dad... he did many stupid things! ... pushed us to do many stupid things too. I guess its reasonably safe really as he was a good swimmer - and he would have got to Ireland eventually :-)
