Atmospheres 4
Artist
Paul Davenport
Medium
Drawing - Charcoal And Graphite Onto Paper
Description
For no good or obvious reason I had a yearning to draw some clouds (? it happens)… I have a rather strong fascination with them.
This is the fourth drawing and Im not sure if this is quite finished yet as I do feel somewhat uncomfortable with it… possibly the amount of white paper?
Largest sheet I had on hand was only 70cm so ended up being somewhat more fiddly than I was planning as I wanted to leave a substantial blank area around the drawing.
Drawn with charcoal and graphite onto Zeichenkarton 220g/m2 drawing paper..

Paul Davenport replied:
Thank you VIVA :-) - though they may be wispy because my hands are trembling and I can't draw accurately!!! - just saying!!!

Love it Paul! Great job!! Clouds are one of my favourite subjects to paint!! They have a million different looks, shades, tints and colours to them, so I can relate to your fascination to them!! Nice work!
Paul Davenport replied:
Thank you Rodger :-) I really should get back to colour... struggling with things being the same tone - but a completely different colour, I only started predominantly doing black and white when a bunch of moths ate all my brushes!
