Medium
Drawing - Charcoal And Graphite Onto Paper
Description
For no good or obvious reason I had a yearning to draw some clouds (? it happens)… I have a rather strong fascination with them.
Largest sheet I had on hand was only 70cm so ended up being somewhat more fiddly than I was planning as I wanted to leave a substantial blank area around the drawing.
Soon found I needed to find some reference for clouds as I was getting rather lost just imagining a light source on amorphous vague fluffy things… which I honestly didn’t expect - ha ha!
Drawn with charcoal and graphite onto Zeichenkarton 220g/m2 drawing paper..

wonderful
Paul Davenport replied:
Than you Nina :-) Actually can't remember why I chose to do such an elongated shape... kinda caught me out really as the top of the drawings would be virtually overhead, but doesn't really work on all of them!
