Description
Have just revisited a local conservation park that is always rather funI
I have not been here for over a year so not sure if these are the same monkeys I saw before. They always seem extremely sentient to me, and rather unhappy, but hope thats just me projecting and misreading expressions!
They are considered to be critically endangered due to an estimated population loss of more than 80% over 45 years, from hunting and human encroachment on its range of habitation.
I think this one is Colombian, and seems to have much shorter hair than the ones I saw last year.
Shot with a Nikon D7100 using a 18-300 Nikkor lens.

Priceless expression Paul! Beautifully composed and light! :)) Congratulations on your feature!
Paul Davenport replied:
Thank you Lexa! - waited ages to try and get him looking into the camera... but he really didn't like it :-( most primates don't! - the last thing you should do really is stare lovingly into their eyes and imagine your bonding! - I almost got attacked by a baby the last time I visited here :-) (served me right too!)
