Description
Recently went on a local walkabout looking for interesting foliage, whilst getting used to a new camera lens. Primarily looking at composition and colour.
Actually could have quite happily spent the whole day photographing this one leaf, which I thought was beautiful :-)... I may go back!
Captured with a Nikon D7100 with 18-300 Nikkor lens.

How very interesting. At first glance I thought it was a sunflower, but it is not. Love the light coming through the leaf and letting us see it's texture. In the end, you are left with a fantastic abstract.
