Squishiness and viscosity… or... playing about with some paint.
they are squishy - so I will call them squishies (as an old friend of mine once said - who happened to be a fish)
I truly believe there is not enough squishiness in the world.
I started playing with some Affinity assets, but soon got the paint out... I suddenly remembered that I always preferred the viscosity and qualities of the paint before I applied it to the canvas :-)
Unfortunately its about all I feel capable of doing at the moment as I frantically search for my mojo - don't know where I could have left it!!! … though I am going to give it a severe telling off if it ever does come back!
These are done with Daler Rowney CRYLA artists’ acrylic onto 200gm Daler Rowney Fine Grain HeavyWeight paper.
